The challenge
Mitigating institutional knowledge loss as experienced personnel retire, at a point when approximately one-third of U.S. drinking water and wastewater operators become eligible to retire within ten years.
What we built
CS-Connect, a secure, model-flexible AI platform centralizing 40 years of fragmented board materials, legal records and program documents into a unified, searchable Knowledge Spine. Using Retrieval-Augmented Generation, staff retrieve trusted, citation-backed answers in seconds rather than spending weeks compiling historical context.
The outcome
A secure-by-design platform that reduces administrative burden, preserves institutional intelligence and evolves with CSRMA's future governance requirements and agentic AI use cases.
